The Sands of Time

We never grew up with a computer, so any access we had to computers and their games was via my neighbour.

One of the games I remember playing with him was Prince of Persia.  I’ve never played any of the later versions, so all my memories of Prince of Persia are of playing the game on my neighbours computer.  I was never very good at it and would constantly fall of things, or not make it under the gate in time before it shut. I was much better at Golden Axe, and even then, I wasn’t very good.  Computer games just weren’t in my skillset.  I still struggle now.

It was pretty cool to check out the movie, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. They’ve picked up a great concept, and packed it with a gorgeous cast with Jake Gyllanhaal and Gemma Arterton.  The movie was enjoyable, and I will check out the sequels that follow, that I assume will be made in the next few years.

What I really want to know:  Is it really possible to ride an ostrich?
